The SeaI/O-463E is a robust Ethernet-based I/O module featuring 96 buffered TTL digital I/O channels. The I/O is divided into 12 eight-bit ports, which can be configured as either inputs or outputs, offering great flexibility for various industrial applications such as sensor monitoring, switch control, and automation systems.
50-pin IDC ribbon cables are used for connectivity, allowing you to link the module to up to four industry-standard relay racks. To ensure reliable installation, a metal strain relief bracket is included to secure the cables and prevent damage during use. The module is powered by a 9–30VDC source, making it compatible with most industrial power systems.
Communication is achieved via Modbus TCP over Ethernet, allowing the module to be integrated seamlessly into SCADA systems, PLCs, and other control devices. Additionally, developers can use Sealevel’s SeaMAX API for custom Windows or Linux applications. For field testing and troubleshooting, the Sealevel Modbus Connect iOS app offers remote access to registers, coils, and I/O.
The SeaI/O-463E is also scalable, supporting up to 246 SeaI/O N-series expansion modules, making it ideal for large-scale automation systems.
